Where to start?

The short answer to the question "Where to start?" is "Start where you want." You can start by saying “I want a site that looks like a magazine” and dive into the structure and interface requirements first. Or you can start by saying “As long as I can share my videos on the screen versus in a pop up window, I will be happy,” which puts you on the fence between content and functionality.
