What is a theme? In simple terms, a theme defines what your site looks like. But what is required to define the "look" of your site?

Theme Structure

In the previous section of this chapter, you read about wireframes. You were introduced to a core function of a theme and that is the definition of all the "places" you can put stuff on the page. Theme Structures talked about the header, footer, menus, regions, sidebars, and content area and how these "compartments" hold the components of your page.
